You do have to make the choice to download it and then open it though if I read this correctly.

But you still have to install it in the normal way using your admin password. Never a good idea to install something you do not know the origin of, or if it is a valid developer or not.

For instance, if you get a notice to update your Adobe Flash plugin from website, you should always go to Adobe's site instead…
