I consciously hid that information since it's an expansion of the originating problen - however and: but yes, you are right.

Alas, this stupid default affects any imported graphics (with alpa), and nonetheless: it's disqulifying. It's 2016 as the writing of this eMail. Sifting through Avid-L and Avid-L2 there are only two occurances of this issue, the earliest dating back to September 2013 - and I'm around since a decade before that. Sums up to:

So Avid MC is capable of doing 4K but defaults (DE-FAULTS!) to this SD-comliance setting? Come on, girls & guys! This ain't lazyness…

Me being a postpro sup and knowing where to take things to make the product shining - this undocumented feature is not: a feature. It's disqualifying. And a reaon my title finishings are never ever has been in Avid MC.
