Re: [Avid-L2] Find and uninstall security updates in OS X 10.10.

The problem is I don't know how far I need to roll it back.  So even having a list of what updates were auto installed would be super helpful.  I've already done 2 roll backs, the most recent being 2 weeks back, and I'm still seeing the same problem.  And it takes 4 fucking hours to do each roll back.  So just knowing how far back I have to go would be nice.

And it would be nice if in OS X I could just uninstall those security updates like I can in Win.

Wow.  My office computer updated itself to windows 10 without my consent or knowledge, so, at least you're not there.  At this point I'm grateful we don't keep any editing or video systems online except during maintenance.

Can't imagine what would happen to a server or editing system if it were to self-update, but I guess you don't have to imagine that.

Good luck tracking down and removing all the 'helpfully installed' updates!  You can always go back using time machine?    I installed 10.11.4 on my laptop and it's completely screwed up.

Hey, so under the App Store system pref there is a option to auto download and install system data files and security updates. Does anyone know how to track down when and what was installed and then how to remove them?

Thanks,
Jay
