In my tests over the years I have found that media composer would "honor" symphony color correction with the exception of secondaries. It's been a while since I checked but even things like channels ond the HSL Controls of Highlights, Midtones and Shadows still came accross. My gut tells me nothing has changed here but I'm rendering some Safe Color Limit Effects and it would be helpful to offload that to a media composer station but many of the shots have secondary color correction so I don't think that would work. Anybody test this out recently on 8.5.2? I'm doubting this aspect has changed in later versions but hoping to be wrong. It's extra difficult because our media composer stations have no program monitor or waveform and the secondary is subtle so it would be hard to see if the effect was still there on the media composer system.
