[Avid-L2] Re: Resolve update from Editor's Lounge event

I have read all the comments on resolve and other software with great interest but maybey it's a good idea for all avid-L user to add a disclaimer at the end of each message stating your workfield, interest, team or one man band player, etc.

The discussion about 'the best' editing software or most useful editor blabla is almost always useless and even more if you don't add this info.

I'm working in the long form documentary (series) world for mostly broadcasters, a lot of time in a small team of editors for over 20 years.

I cut on Avid in a shared environment, grade in resolve, master/finish in Premiere and cut my daughter's hockeymovies with FCPX. All because of the fact that each tool is the best tool for this particular job. Probably next year everything will change again, that's how it goes. ...
Be open minded to all of the innvations in our field is IMHO key to a succesful and long lasting career.

Cheers!
