Hey David-- Wikipedia to the rescue. Scroll way down to the bottom of the article, there's a pie chart that clarifies the mystery, looks like we are both correct, sort of.
#1- BBC 1
#2- ITV 1
#3- BBC 2
#4- ITV 2... Etc (details on pie chart with specific share percentages).
I didn't realize that the Beeb was/is still as strong as it is, thinking the commercial channels were giving it a much stronger run for the money. I've been drinking too much Murdoch kool aid.
