All of the gear is in the same rack, but the cable lengths could definitely vary by 15 feet or so. The DA cascades from one card to the next but I think it’s a pass thru loop. Food for thought.

It's odd all I've ever pushed around is cvbs as reference and I've never had a problem in 3 decades. I think the trick is just cutting all my reference cables to the same length when building facilities and feeding them from vdas fed by similar length cables from the sync generator.
