Louis Hernandez Jr., who is the chairman, president and CEO of Avid (Nasdaq: AVID), listed total compensation of $6.5 million last year, including a base salary of $700,000, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Hernandez also realized $326,625 in value from past stock awards that vested in 2014. That figure is separate from his total compensation for the year.
