You're right Steve, but (IMHO) it's clunky and unintuitive. Additionally, for the new user it's a totally hidden trick. They have to search for the method on the Google Machine, ask a friend, or post in a forum. Adding: It just occurred to me that Waveform Height buttons should also be at the bottom of the Timeline Window, right next to "Toggle Client Monitor" or Step In/Out.
