In light of my recent thread involving the shortcomings of QT reference files etc... I figured Halloween would be a good testing ground. I decided to dress up as a Quicktime Reference file and to make it a fair test I dressed Rubin as a Videomixdown. I went Trick or QC'ing and I got rejected at every house. Not a single house gave me any candy. Some of the nastier neighbors even told me my costume had too much filler, even after I told them it was just my fanny pack.
Rubin on the other hand was welcomed by all and got his fill and plenty of pets. I'm beginning to think the universe is trying to tell me something. If only it was a more clear sign?
And thanks Phillip for nixing next years plan to dress as Quicktime Pro. Nothing worse than being seen in an EOL costume. Man I miss the days of tape based Halloween when I was D-1 stock I was the hit of the party. ;-)
