Not directly I believe. Export as usual, then step in to the effect and copy out the B/W matte and export that, too. Combine the two elements outside Avid. Works with an animated tilte - may not work for you.

Subject: [Avid-L2] How to convert sequence into a Matte Key with Alpha?
I have made a short sequence of a keyed animated shape. I would like to turn that sequence into a Matte Key (With Alpha) for future use.I have tried different export/import combinations but they all create just a regular master clip - ie with no alpha channel.Any thoughts?Tim (Newscutter v10)
