Thanks we just tried that but all options are grayed out. File is an .MP4 which reads in QT 10 as AVC. Also we can not view on the machine natively in qt 7 only QT 10. This makes me feel we are missing some sort of codec.

Manually select the P2 plugin via the drop down menu. Avid may not be selecting the proper one when left in auto select.
