For those playing along at home, the only way I had ever applied a LUT was the Source Settings in the contextual menu by clicking on the clip in the source window.
If you try to follow along with Michael's advice by doing THAT, you will not succeed.
I didn't realize until I failed by trying it that way, that Source Settings is also in the contextual menu in the BIN. So if you want to apply a LUT to all the clips in a bin, you have to select all the clips in the bin and then right click or control-click (mac) the clips themselves right in the bin and then find the Source Settings option in the BIN'S contextual menu. Then Add the LUT and Apply All.
Just to clarify. Life is in the details.

Select all the clips in the bin. Go to your Source Settings. Apply LUT. Choose "Apply to All." Close the source setting window. Done!

I haven't had to do this, so forgive me for asking a question that may seem like the ONE person who should know the answer is me…
LUTs can be applied at the clip level in Source Settings in Color Management. I know how to do that.
But what if you want to apply a LUT to HUNDREDs of clips in a bin? You've got to do it individually?
I see that you can include Color Management as a Bin Column - which is cool to see what has been applied to certain clips - but you can't use that in a "mass" setting.
