Who are the "we" you refer to. Is this the Rhodes Schwartz booth? What product does this? If it is the Venice product you mentioned then I was misinformed when I went to the R&S booth. Insert editing into an AS11 file isn't the same thing Cine Deck is doing as far as I was told, and I asked about AS 11 specifically. Isn't the abilty of versioning, which is sort of like insert editing, the idea behind AS 11? When you make an insert into an AS 11 isn't it adding pointers to the new section of the insert just like there can be pointers to and alternate end sequence or other things that allow customized versioning in the format. I haven't dealt with AS 11 directly so I may not understand it's structure or intended functionality.

we promised and delivered the ability to insert edit into our own AS11 DPP deliverable files. If anyone is still at NAB you can see it at SL9306 just next to Aspera.
We have the best card ingest UI/workflow in the industry (according to a lot of NAB visitors) so do come by if you need to check camera media into Interplay etc.
