Re: [Avid-L2] Resolve output to tape?

I tried it a few versions ago, and it wasn't practical. Even though my system typically renders around 70fps (as long as I don't use too much noise reduction) there was invariably a slow frame or transition and the output dipped below the playback speed, and the recorder was stopped. I found it faster and more reliable to render out a quicktime (or MXF) and output that to tape with another application. That's frustrating when you find an error by observing the output, but it's file -based media. What are you going to do?
