Nexidia was already licensing their technology to others. It doesn't appear that Avid had an exclusive license. In that case, why *wouldn't* Nexidia license to Avid, regardless of market share? A small slice of the pie is still more pie!
I see that Nexidia's VP of Sales is a former Avid employee. Why not communicate some of your concerns to that person?
