Anyone who does any effects work needs to have that. Avid please get an editor to review your changes before you implement them. This seems to be an awful trend. Taking out
a feature like that can't be done to save money. Come on, a little bit of code that already
exists.
Oh yeah, the old Avid always did that. Tom O where are you when we need you.

Have you tried resizing the window? Go to the effects workspace and open the tools you want. Then grab the corner of the source/record window and drag the corner smaller until it pops to a single monitor. Then drag it larger again. Save this effects state. You won't get full screen size, but you will get a larger window. It's worked that way for a while. Still works this way on 8.1 Mac. Yes, a much bigger window (cough, cough - Adobe) would be even better. ;-)
