#3 - usually, as you say, Shift would change speed. No ned to reverse if you use the wheel. My finger goes both ways!

I was JUST about to post this SOLO button request. I am working on a feature with another editor who is learning Avid and he is constantly using the SOLO buttons in the timeline. It makes for a LOT of clicking. He asked for a button. I agree.
as for #3 - it's common practice that ALT or OPT would reverse the direction and shift or control would either make the wheel super speed or super slow - fine control.SteveOn Aug 28, 2014, at 8:54 AM, Roger Shufflebottom rogershuff@yahoo.co.uk [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:Doing a lot of audio work this week.1) Please, PLEASE can we have keyboard shortcuts for track Mute and Solo. Command +Track on keyboard is not doing anything right now.2) Can we have mouse wheel control of the faders in the Audio Mixer? I have mouse wheel control over the sliders in the Effect Editor.3) Mouse wheel sometimes (not always) works with the mini track clip gain faders (v7) so I tried Shift+mouse wheel to try and speed up movement. Guess what? Shift+wheel reverses direction! WTF?+44 7973 543660
