It's early days for this Sony A7s camera -- and SLog2 is being handled in a number of ways:
1. A number of end-users have created 1D and 3D LUTs, and are sharing them with the community.
2. Products such as VisionColor's ImpulZ also support the A7s implementation of SLog2. Link: http://www.vision-color.com/impulz/
3. And, finally, the Atomos Shogun (shipping October) will have both Canon C-Log and a Sony-supplied 3D SLog LUT to normalize the calibrated Shogun display back to Rec709 (so you can view the normalized image while recording Log).
However, my "3rd party" reference had more to do with Avid's inability to import or AMA XAVC-S files. It's really a bummer, and it requires software like Squeeze or AE to transcode XAVC-S to DNxHD.
As an aside, you might want to watch this video on Resolve 11's new Color Chart Match feature. The advantage here is that you are not baking a LUT into your footage -- nor are you fighting against it while you are color correcting. I don't believe the Baselight plugin has this feature, but I stand to be corrected. Anyway, for those with some level of collaboration (or control) over the production unit, this is an interesting time-saver. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byTporDXYxA
Conversely, you use Michael Philips' more manual version of the same general technique: Link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1226998/Blog%20Images/macbeth_tutorial.mov
