I have been have serious playback problems with Quicktime ProResHQ files that are AMA linked. Several people have suggested that the audio tracks might be the problem, and this appears to be the case. The Console reports massive audio under runs.
On further investigation, Console errors when AMA linkig indicate video and audio track durations are mismatched. Quicktime Properties also report mismatched durations, so it's probably traceable to the QT components… or the original files of course.
Frankly, I'm at a bit of a loss in understanding what I'm dealing with here and what I should do about it. Is this familiar to anyone? I realize this is probably not a problem with MC, but any insight would be helpful.

The files are original camera files from a Sound Devices PIX240 - QT1080p29.97 Apple ProResHQ
