I also did what you need in MediaComposer with the Timecode effect, which you can do, but the renders are horrendous and it requires human interaction and a copy of Media Composer (or four) to do it in parallel.

If you capture the primary files to a folder CA is watching it will do the rest for you automatically. it will even deliver the proxies to where you want them at the end.

It's really whether we can keep up with the capturing… I can capture 4 streams easily but transcoding at 4 times realtime is harder esp with burn ins and also we'd have to work out how to translate the reel no etc into a burn in. So it might be I need more PC's to transcode than capture which seems wrong!
