The iMac is sending through Thunderbolt to the UltraStudio Mini Monitor. It will definitely get a signal from the Avid to the monitor, but I want to choose the darn USB speakers instead of HD-SDI audio!
I guess this is a feature request then. With the BMD, there really ISN'T an audio output... it's ONLY able to send audio THROUGH the video, which is not optimal.

In Avid, the audio always follows video. So if you're outputting video via SDI to the Flanders, the audio is also going SDI. I don't think you can change that. You'll have to run audio from the Flanders audio output to your speakers, if that's an option.
