I just missed the update window ending April 30th. I ended up with a support contract for the same price on may 2nd. I've yet to sort out my activation codes. Avid has been helpful and we keep exchanging emails through Avid support and my VAR. They asked for my dongle id's and serial numbers which I gave them. Still nothing listed in my Avid account. I was sent two excel spread sheets with what appear to be activation numbers but since I have two symphony licenses one with a dongle and one software activation I don't know which one to use for the dongle. In the past I would just "trade in" the activation code for an updater file but because they asked for the donglie Id's and ser numbers I figure there must be a specific activation code for the dongle symphony and one for my software activation symphony. I'm not slamming anyone about this because I've been in and out of town so I'm not following up with support like usual.
It's been so long I've actually received the little cards with download codes from Avid but those aren't the same as the activation code .xls docs I was sent. It's been a while since I did this so I'm rusty but it has been tedious and I still haven't upgraded because I want to get my ducks in a row before starting.
