Tod,
I have had the same problem with bin fonts getting munged. But where is the "Font Collections" folder? I can't find it.
New MacPro, OSX 10.9.2, MC 7.0.4
Thanks,

I cleaned and reset everything: duplicate fonts, validated all fonts, cleared all caches, deleted plists, and more, even deleted user fonts, without success.
