Re: [Avid-L2] Pan and Zoom frustration. Was: Pan and Zoom Appears as Black

I figure that it was designed way before the key frame graphs were introduced and that the original interpolation modes conflict with the graphs. Very frustrating. This is way overdue for an update. Roll on complete resolution independence for stills and video.

+1 for the Pan and Zoom frustration. Something has changed over the previous versions affecting the keyframing. I am no longer able to apply a simple zoom and reposition to an image without it making some sort of weird S-curve in the motion. I select the keyframes and try linear, spline, bezier, extrapolate, hold, fixed, elastic. Nothing changes. Just the same fricking curve.

Oh, and Photoshop files don't work. What?

Is it just me? I figure if I choose a start keyframe, apply a position, then an end keyframe, apply a different position, the image should just go from the beginning position to the end position without some sort of unasked-for curve in the extrapolation. It used to work this way in older versions.

I stopped using Pan and Zoom and now move images in Avid FX, which has it's own problems, but at least works.
