I don't remember the camera roundup but I did get to meet the chyron operator who figured out how to program the top ten list. Apparently reading the lines from the bottom to the top was a bit of a challenge. It was Carol Mark or Marks IIRC. I worked with her at the Barcelona Olympics and she told me one show she sat at Dave's desk and did the top ten while Letterman sat at the chyron keyboard and fired the read next button or whatever it was that triggered the line type ons. Fun stuff when people just had fun with the medium and you could tell the whole crew was into it.
