[Avid-L2] MC7 AMA linked QTs with Alpha can't transcode?

 

Not getting any answers elsewhere, so I figured I'd try here:

I get an error every time I try to transcode a linked QT with alpha. Is this not possible? If so, then linking to QT with alpha seems like a very un-useful feature. What am I missing?
