If you need more tools, Adobe Audition CC is only $20/month.  If has some pretty good hiss and noise removal tools.  They are pretty easy to use, and there are several online videos and tutorials.
 
iZotope RX3 is quite good, though it is $349.

If it's just a high-end hiss, possibly the built-in RTAS EQ 
(either 3 band or 7 band) could do the job for you.

We have a video that was shot where there is a pretty clear hiss on the audio track - the audio was clean during the test recording but for the actual program we have a hiss.

In the past, an earlier version of Avid came bundled Bias SoundSoap, which we used a few times but the Windows version of the newest version is not available right now according to the new distributor's website.

What are people using for cleaning up audio that might be inexpensive and easy to use?

Any advice would be appreciated.
