Re: [Avid-L2] How long should ALC take to activate??

The problem was me not comprehending which 16 digit activation code to put in where and blasting my dongle the first time without the symphony option, then trying to un install and re-install and trying to get a different dongle updater code and that transmission got messed up, and when I re-tried it said that my activation code at already been used.

Long sentence, but a quick fix.  Once I could explain to a human, Ed in Tech Support did his magic and got me a new updater file and I was off to the races!

So what was the problem specifically and it's solution. Share with the group so others don't have to suffer your pain. Thanks for taking one for the team.

The only way i got to speak to a real person was by (and I'm not kidding here) randomly pushing buttons on the phone tree in hopes that a human would answer that could perhaps put me in touch with someone in tech support. I don't recommend this method.
