Naming the tracks is useful for two things. One is that they're more
clearly identifiable (only in QT Pro though), for what it's worth. Second
is that if you have a core audio device that you're playing the QT out of,
when you name the tracks, it assigns them to the correct outputs of the
audio device. Again, for what it's worth.

I am sure whatever the spec says for your delivery you are following with
that track order. I was just supplying the OP with the specific answer for
his problem. If I were to give a more generic answer, I'd say: "You can lay
out a sequence with mono tracks in the order you want them to appear in the
QT. Then export a ref, open it in QT Pro, save as self-contained, and
you're done."
