[Avid-L2] Re: Surround QT ouput

When I output 12 track files with Stereo Lt,Rt on ch. 1%2, Lt,Rt on ch3&4, L,R,C,Lfe,Ls,Rs on Ch 5 thru 10, Stereo M&E on Ch. 11&12 I then go into QT Pro and Cmd J. to assign the track name to the various tracks. The only tracks I have no name for, Ch. 11&12, I assign discrete-0 and discrete-1. By assigning the correct names to the track have I also mapped them for the appropriate 5.1 outputs or do I have to do a separate file with just the 6 5.1 tracks on Tracks 1 thru 6 as listed below? I've had no complaints from the network delivering this way but they aren't using it like a festival would. Just curious if my track naming is helpful down the pipe line.
