Re: [Avid-L2] faster Go Pro injest

To follow up on my earlier comment (sukky AMA playback of GoPro on laptop/MC6):

I took the 1080P footage over to a Nitris 6.5.3 system on a 4-core HP Z400 and playback was close to normal. JKL was OK but fast forward playback resulted in goppy, lagging images.

I found that changing the project setting to exactly match the material (was slow on 720P) improved things and of course, turning off audio scrubbing and waveforms helped too.

All in all, it was workable and I could edit via AMA. But you need to throw sone serious hardware at that codec.
