[Avid-L2] Re: SFPlay error

 

There are too many potential specific causes to list, as it could be an an internal MC error, a issue with an external device or a plugin, the OS hanging for some period of time, etc. It's a fairly generic error which simply means the video frame needed at the output hasn't arrived within a certain amount of time, and rather than spin forever waiting for something that may never complete, the single frame play operation aborts. There are similar error messages for streaming play, transcode, etc.
