[Avid-L2] Re: Restart Attic - SOLVED

My projects were listed under "external" and were located in a
non-standard place. I moved them to the ...Public Documents / Shared
Avid Projects folder and magically, the backup bin copies turned up in
the ... Public Documents / Avid Media Composer / Avid Attic folder. So
the attic was saving the bins, but they were not displayed until the
project was moved.

Moral of the story: Keep the projects where Avid likes them.

One for each app. The simplest thing to do is to do a search on "Attic." You can also do a search on any bin name. The bin name should come up in the new project AND in the Attic folder. Maybe change some of your Bin settings to see if it "wakes up" the attic. I have maximum files set to 1000 and maximum versions set to 50.

It doesn't look at everyone's settings first to see that someone else has it set to 100. Either way, though, it should still have the most recent copies of bins, not "remnants."
