Something I have been seeing for a while (since 2000, when people started digitizing on their own systems and then bringing it to me).
If the Avid was re-creating media databases:
Exception: 'CM_INVALID_TRIM'
An error occurred scanning the file
Almost all times these files were fine so I would click on the button "ignore all"
I don't like seeing any error message/prompt at all.
my rule of thumb, keep the media databases that were delivered with the Avid MediaFiles. And use with the Avid as read only. thus, not allowing the Avid to re-create media databases in the first place!!!
