Bottom line it's a .0 release. Does it have something you just gotta have now? I like what I hear about it so far but the proof is in the pudding. From what I've read once you update your dongle it's bye bye to all but 5.5.3.7, 6.0.4 and 6.5.3 for backwards bin compatibility. Also if it's a symphony the dongle will not work with Pre 6.0 versions of Symphony but will work with earlier versions of mc. I guess the dongle issue might have something to do with symphony now is an option on media composer. These are some potential problems to consider if you collaborate with others or have to move projects back to other legacy systems.

I just got my notice from Avid that my download is ready (laptop was upgraded to 6.5 recently) so I downloaded.

Many of the problems seem specific to systems. I'll hold off on the suite for now until the bugs shake down but Im anxious to give it a run on the laptop.
