You are correct to think it is the latter. I need to make list of which frames to use form the ArriRaw frame sequences. And while I work on being able to make a pull list that has the actual frame ranges in it, I believe that they have someone working on a way to take an EDL, open it as a CSV file, and convert the TC ranges to Frame ranges. So, coming at it from both sides I think we will find something that works.
