I have a cmx omni I can't quite part with but it hasn't been switched on in probably 15 years.

I still have a couple of digibetas in a rack in the office. I made a station dub for India about 18 months ago with it. I am to all intents and purposes a data facility now with Lto archiving but I haven't loaded material from a videotape in close to 5 years.

And I'm glad.

Tapes on its last gasp and its only a few short years until the hdcamsrs look as dated as an IVC9000.
