Thanks Steve and Roger. I just used it; its also nice to be able to copy the key frames as well. Now by the time it becomes habit version 7 will be out with a different workflow. :)

I believe that feature is now gone, but replaced with the ability to lasso multiple keyframes at once over multiple tracks. You no longer have to mark in/out to affect a whole section.
When I first worked with it I hated it, but once I figured out how it worked, I preferred it to the old way.
