On Friday, BorisFX released an AvidFX 6.3 update. This update includes some
significant bug fixes and improvements, including addressing several issues
reported here or on the Avid Forums ;
- problems with importing some images directly into AvidFX on Mac have been
fixed
- unexpected level shift sometimes seen in rendered AvidFX effects on Mac
(when 16 bit rendering) has been fixed
- some stability / render problems possible when using the paint feature on
windows when Windows language was set to non-english language is fixed
- several other bug fixes

The update can be downloaded by taking the "ÄvidFX" link on this page and
following download steps from there ;
http://www.borisfx.com/updates/
To install the update, first uninstall the current version if one is
present, and then run the AvidFX 6.3 installer. This process will not
affect the licensing for already licensed systems and re-entering a serial
number will be required in that case.
