I'd second looking at vidchecker.

It's a really neat applications http://www.vidcheck.com/

We've looked at it a couple of times and initially it wasn't quite there
(for us) but the current version is very powerful and capable and not
that
expensive.

We have a whole bunch of training coming up based on broadcast QC and
the
move to file based deliveries and will be getting in Cerify

ysis

As part of the course. However it's not a cheap solution and in some
ways
not as flexible as Vidchecker so I may look at having Vidchecker on hand
as
well. (we should talk Rupert)

If your London based then talk to Root 6 as they distribute it.
