[Avid-L2] Creating a clip from a sequence

 

I have a bin full of about a 100 short rushes clips imported from a XD-CAM disc and I want to turn them into a single clip.

The method I'm trying is to put all the clips into a sequence, export that sequence as a QT Reference, then import the resulting .mov file back into my bin as a clip.

Problem is that the audio tracks all get mixed together. (Even though the 'Mixdown Audio Tracks' button in Export Settings is unchecked.)

Is there a way to export a sequence as a QT Reference and keep the individual audio tracks sperated? Or, is there a better way to turn 100 short clips into a single long clip?

Any thoughts appreciated!
