Let's say I enable the above option for a media-embedded AAF. I specify that the embedded audio be converted to 48 kHz upon export.
Now, 99%-100% of the clips in my timeline are already 48 kHz. I'm just looking for any possible orphan 44.1 kHz files.
Will Avid re-sample the media that is ALREADY 48 kHz (thereby possibly degrading audio quality)? Or is the software smart enough to only re-sample what needs re-sampling?
I know it seems a tiny, tiny question, but I'd like to know the answer!
Cheers.
