Also a lot of people use an SD Harding to test HD programmes via the downconverted output of their decks. There is an HD Harding available (is this the HFPA XL you're talking of Tony?). I'm sure differences in 601/709 must have some impact on test results so it's another layer of confusion.

I was beta testing the HFPA XL at the time and they sent me an FOC update,
but I have no idea if it's free to everyone. Why not drop Don a line?
