Yes, that's a method. But it should be possible to have an option in the Transcode dialogue, as in (as Bouke said) Consolidate: "Skip files on target drive" . . . "Skip clips that are/are not DNxHD120 . . . " etc. Or as in Decompose - choose all clips or only offline clips. It's only metadata . . .
