I'm running a little studio with a Blackmagic ATEM TV Studio at the moment to put together 2 camera news interviews for quick play out at a conference.
The ATEM will allo capture of a H264 (.mp4) but Avid will not AMA the files in. My suspicion is that the problem lies with the audio in that it is compressed (mpeg aac mp4a) but I wondered if anyone had had any success with pulling these files types in via AMA. They come in fine when imported (although a little slowly at about real time + 10/15%)
It is proving to be a bottle neck in the workflow and a workaround would be very useful at this point.
