Back in 2003 we made a 2hr prog in 8 parts which was all complete a week prior to TX until the lawyers stuck their oars in. We then worked 24hrs a day in double 12 hour shifts for 6 days to incorporate all the changes and finally started playing the parts down the line to the TV company in random order (as they were completed) on the day of TX.
Understandably the company concerned weren't going to commence TX until they had all 8 parts. They had a movie on standby just in case.
The last part to be played out to them was the final part and it got to the end of the credit roll 15 secs before start of TX.
Now that's what I really call 'Just In Time' delivery!
