My I/O express is in my assistants PC so I cannot check it but; The Kona 3 card is in slot 2 of this 12 core MacPro and a simulated digital cut of DNxHD36 seems to play out fine, probably not relevant if you are using uncompressed 10 bit!
However the Aja System Test allows you to measure the read and write speed to the card, the reading here is 464 MB/s.
