[Avid-L2] Symphony 6.0.3 and AJA i/O Express stability and frame accuracy?s

 

I may be setting up a MacPro OS 10.6.8 with Symphony 6.0.3.  I know Lion is suggested but I've been okay running 10.6.8 with my MBP 17inch and the need for Rosetta to access Avid Connection Manager and Fibre Manager are needed in this case.  At least it is my understanding that connection manager 5.2 runs through Rosetta and if I went to Lion 10.7.x I would lose Rosetta and thereby be incapable of accessing our media net Unity.  Can someone confirm or deny this?  Also I have no reason to think I will have stability issues running this with an AJA I/O Express but figure I should ask for some real world experience with the I/O and Symphony 6.  Also has anybody checked or had any issues with frame accuracy on capture and digital cut?  Any thoughts will be appreciated.
