[Avid-L2] Semi-OT: MCSoft & AJA

 

Hi, Listers.

I run MCsoft v5.0.3 on a MacPro (10.7.5). This system has an AJA Kona3
installed, which drives Final Cut Studio 3 on a separate hard drive.
Everything runs great. When running, MCsoft ignores the Kona and I
switch my QC monitor to DVI-in from the MacPro to gain full-screen
playback via CMD+SHIFT+F.

I acquired and installed a copy of Adobe CS 6 on the drive with MCsoft,
and would like to take advantage of the Kona3 to gain external monitor
support for After Effects. If I installed the AJA Kona3 drivers
(10.3.1) and Adobe Mac plugins (10.3.0) would MCsoft remain stable? My
intuition tells me "yes", but it also says "be absolutely sure".
